i went to magaluf when i was 18 (cor............. 12 years ago!!!) im really surprised your allowed to go i was only allowed to go cos i was 18!!! im afraid it 18 hun, i live in spain now, costa blanca. to be honest i never took my passport out with me, the hotel retained it when we booked in alot of them do that, i looked about 16 when i was 18 and they never asked, they will asume your 18 i would think,it very rear that they do ask in spain, not like u.k when you have to show your passport to get into your local 'yates'!!!! lol have a wicked holiday, here are some good clubs....................... and bars think they still there on main strip?? we stayed in the fiesta Sahara hotel you might find they wont serve drinks in your hotel to you and your friends as they know your age.

1. the underground (British club)
2, banana (disqotec)
3. the music pub (nice for during the day)
4. BCM (i didnt think much of this, but its where they have the foam partys) be warned dont wear nice clothes to a foam party as it stains your clothes!!
5. linerkers bar (sports bar)

have a fab time and be carful out there and dont walk the beach at night on own, and dont forget between 2-5 everything closes for sista!!!! bars should still b open and another bit of advice in spain it not called night club its discqtec!!!! a nightclub is a brothel!!!

you can also get cab to palma one night thats fun!!!
and they have a burger king there for them late nights!

You have to be 18. When booking into your hotel they will check your passports.

Theorically 18 years old. In practice you probably have no problems.

Well, i havent been to spain since i was 15 and i used to get into the bars and night clubs all the time, And i havent been to magaluf but ive been to sacoma and alicudia in majorca which is just as livley as magaluf. and i got in there bars. the legal ae is 18 but your lucky if you get away with the age you look. many bar owners dont care. its all depends on if they make money. 18. Just like the rest of the EU. And, why do you want to break the law in a foreign country? Do you REALLY want to risk winding up in jail?

sorry it is 18,you might not get into your hotel as you are not legally an adult,so i would check with your travel agent before going,also take my advice do not get drunk as magaluff has one of the highest rape records in spain,take care if you do go.

I think the E.U law IS 18... most discotecas outside of the tourist areas have signs saying 16 though.

If your going out for a meal, or sitting in a Bar and not a Club/Discoteca you'll get served in Magaluf. But any clubs in/around/and near the Punta Ballena will all be 18. They might let you in.

The legal age is 18, anyway depending on the bar you are asked the passport to verify the age or not.
