I would like to watch some UK TV. How does one get it legally here?

Why do I want it?
Well I would like some UK news other than Rangers supporters urinating on Macias's monument in Barcelona.

I would also like to see some films in VO (without dubbing). Comedies lose too much when translated into Spanish. AND even the locals can“t stand films dubbed into Catalan.
(John Wayne in She wore a 'groggy' ribbon was just too much!).

p.s. Yesterday they showed a Joselito movie on 'Cine de Barrio'. It was even worse than 'la Pepa' (Marisol) !
I went out!

I live in Malaga and can get any UK TV. Having said that, I don“t want UK TV. I“m quite happy to have Spanish TV. I came to Spain for a different life. I spend much more time outdoors. The good thing is I don“t miss it at all.

I have had SKY Tv for years, BUT now its just the free view channels, they cut me off several years ago, they "found out" Iwas watching from overseas, chopped me off....I was furious the argument went on for months, they do in fact still owe me money.
Even though at first they said that was why they had cut me off, but in the end they admitted they found me out living here on the costa, I told them I would gladly be a detective for them getting all the names of the folks IN SPAIN!! who have SKY in all the bars, restaurants, (both english and spanish owned!!) private houses, hotels, and whatever..............I would be about 200 years old by the time I had got off my estate/surrounding area, so why did they pick me.
Anyway, sorry you are getting bad results, you might need a bigger dish, or your existing one might have moved, as for channel 5 try Five Life they show The Wright stuff and some of the programmes that are on 5.
I lost channel 5 sometime ago along with several shopping channels including QVC, which was supposed to have moved to another no. on the list, but I can't get it.
Don't take notice of those folks telling you to watch spanish TV, I find it extremely boring, I do understand spanish, my husband is spanish, even he thinks the TV is boring!! but at least we don't have to pay for a licence here!!

You can, with the right equipment, but it will never be legal, so you can't complain.

I live on the Costa Del Sol and just have an old Sky box with no subscription, don,t pay a penny. I get all the freeview channels and never lose signal, except channel 5 which is a high frequency. Do you speak Spanish? Spanish tv is not that bad. When there is nothing on the sat. i watch Spanish.

As a traveller I suggest you look into having the television sent using a sling box or the sony system from someone you know back in England who has an ADSL connection. This way it is free and you can watch all the channels from a freeview box.

Hope this helps.
