At the moment and for the foreseeable future there are no jobs. Any that are available will be given to the locals who desperately need work. Furthermore, unless you can speak Spanish fluently, then I doubt you'd get a job here working in those professions.

I live in Tenerife and have to agree with Carousel, any bus/hgv jobs will go to locals first, you may get a job in construction but i would think it would be labouring rather than mounted crane, the credit crisis has hit here too! sorry to put a downer on it but its best you know before making any moves.

as already said you will find it hard pcv licences i think every spaniard has one a class 1 will get you work i live in malaga and i know they are taking class one drivers on but the jobs a rubbish you leave malaga for germany or france then on to the uk and then back load for gibralter then load for portugal get home about twice a month as for class 2 with hiabs unless You get work on the dustbin waggons there's no chance as the rest that are used on construction work are parked up in there hundreds

yes you can

work here at the moment is like zero....

but in a couple of years things might be better. my friend has a crane license and i know he gets around 2000 euros a month. you earn quite a lot and not many people have the license here....

good luck

I would imagine you do yes. You can work in Spain or the Canaries at will as it's part of Europe.
You should be able to get a job within the tourism industry out there maybe??? Or Construction???
