lol i went there two years ago and it was livley the beach was ok to but not to sure if it is windy to go kite surfing. but we stayed in a hotel 20 mins from Lloret de mar we had to go there every day cos were we were staying was crap was nothing to do. but i would say it was ok but it might not be very busy at this time or year.

Lloret de mar is not a good spot. This town built in the 70's is everything but Spanish.
If you have the choice, go to Tarifa.

small stony beach small crowded streets, hotels squashed together - not recommended, closed down October to April

Not windy at all when I was there, but if you want a great place to go that is windy, try Fuerteventura.
They call this place the Windy Island
