Looking for a place in Spain called Austeria or Osteria (not sure of spelling)?

I saw this place on a TV programme and it looked really nice, but cannot find the place on any maps etc, any body got any ideas or know where it is.

It's Austurias, I believe, that you are looking for, and it's in the Northwest of the country, lots of coastline, and green mountains. I haven't been there, myself. One day *sigh* maybe.

It's Asturias in the north west of Spain. It' capital is Oviedo and it is a charming city. Another place worth visiting is Llanes a small town on the coast with some fabulous beaches.
They have a saying 'Ser espanol es un orgullo...ser asturiano es un titulo' Translates as ..if being Spanish is a matter of pride..to be Asturian is a title.

I think you are looking for Asturias, a Spanish province which constitutes the Autonomous Community "Princedom of Asturias".
Its capital is Oviedo, and the bigger citys are Oviedo and Gijón.

It is situated in the north coast of Spain, http://civilizacionduel1.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/mapa_comunidades.jpg

Its landscape are green meadows with cows, mountain forests with brown beards and high snowed peaks.
Asturias is also known by the seafood and the hard sider made with their apples.

People from Asturias speaks both Spanish ( Castillian ) and an ancient dialect called Bable, not difficult to understand.

Asturias is said to be the origin of the Spanish Nation because the firsts christian conquerors, who were sheltered in Asturias' mountains, adeparted from there, guided by the leader Pelayo ( whose sons and daugthers were the first christian kings and queens in Hispania), and started a hard struggle against moors ( arabs ) which took more than eight centurys to re-conquer all the territory of the Iberian Peninsula.
