Looking for apartment or hotel in cordoba(spain)historical center comfortable and charming, in may for two? |
good morning,
we want to stay aproximately one week in Cordoba in may, in the historical center or nearby (by foot) to discover this town, people, etc ...
We love spain and have spent many holidays there for years, in different regions.
So if you have good plans in general about this town and sites very nearby please tell us, we are very interested in.
For the apartment or hotel, we like quietness also, in Spain it is sometimes difficult !!!
Thank you very much.
Chantal and Jean-Claude from France. |

There are some very good websites you can use to preview the hotel or accommodation in Cordoba - but the one that I like the best is listed below for you to try : you can check the location on the map, see the accommodation and also check if it is in your price range for this holiday.
You have chosen a very beautiful part of Spain and I hope that enjoy your holiday in May. |

Cordoba is famous for its floral patio arrangements. Residents, in some quarters, take great pride in their patios and compete amongst themselves for the most beautiful display. The city's old quarter is also famous for its distinctive white buildings and balconies decorated with flowers. The pavements of the town are also populated with orange trees. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/heritage_cities/Cordoba.htm for details of hotels etc. |

You have excellent choice: Cordoba is enchanting !. I stayed in the hostel 'La Luna' in the Arab quarter & only about 200 metres from the Mezzequita. Delightful hostel (found it by accident) with a Moroccan theme. Only a light breakfast & no evenings meals. The best restaurant in Cordoba is next door.
Spectacular view from roof terrace & better still with a glass of wine ! Lots of other places with delicious food. Can't give you a tlf number but you may be able to get it from the tourist office, which must have a website. Enjoy yourself. Eddie |

Try this site http://www.unusedrooms.com/specials/city/Cordoba.html it will give you a list of accommodation in Cordoba complete with prices and photos. Enter your travel dates in the search box to ensure you only have to filter through available hotels.

You will find plenty of hotels to stay at.
Cordoba is the most Moorish of all Spanish cities. Visit the Medina and the Street of Flowers, the Roman Bridge and Moorish water mills. The huge mosque, which is now a Christian Catherdral since 1236, is a must see. Walk through the Jewish Quater, the old Synagogue, and Cordoban courtyards.
So, Chantal and Jean-Claude, as I have listed some, not all attractions, a week will be needed. |
