hiya i lived in menorca and have been going there since the age of 8 there isnt really hostels there but there are 2 campsites in which you can take your own tent if you take your own tent and your alone it will cost you 3.20euros low season 3.50euros middle season and 3.85euros per day which is good there is large swwimming pool bar restaurant supermarket showers its lovely there and you can get bus from son bou to mahon where you can get buses to every part of the island or hitch i lived in the camp site for 5months me and my daughter hitched our way round the island with no trouble and you will find the people very happy and willing to help you the other camp site is in the south of menorca i dont no anything about that site...if you type in camping in menorca into yahoo both sites will come up..hope ive been of some help to you enjoy the island its lovely..do try the xoriguer gin while there if you want anymore help let me know..

There doesn't seem to be an abundance of Hostels in Menorca. If you go to "hostels in menorca" there would appear to be one in Cala 'n Bosch, (Aparthotel Marinda Garden) and they have a minimum 3 night stay rule. There are six listed in Ciutadella, which offers you a choice for that area but doesn't help for the rest of your travels. Maybe you will have to include apartments or "cheaper" hotels in your search, in which case you could try "holidayrooms.direct" or some such similar company. Good luck on your travels.
