Diana park Hotel, Atalaya park hotel, they are both very near to San Pedro and 5 mins from Puerto Banus, Marbella..
Selwo safari park is also 10 mins away and the kids will love it.. Gibraltar 40 mins away.. see the apes great fun.. also lots of fiestas at xmas.. the Spanish love their xmas lights..have fun. Fly to Malaga or Gibraltar, hiring a car will be cheaper in the long run.

Hi , I have book a hotel through a site called roomsnet.com.. they offer hotels room all over the world and they have been selling spanish hotels for a longer period now. They have hotels with all the facilities and it is very easy to use. Rate wise also I feel their rates are very cheap compared to the others.
