Madrid bullfight?

Is there bullfight in Madrid in 29 April? How do I get reasonable tickets?

Joan el guiri
There appears to be a bullfight on April 29th. See www.las-ventas.com. where you can buy tickets.

The web site states 29 de Abril. 18:30
Toros de Los Recitales para Curro Díaz, Fernando Cruz y Serranito (confirmará) (to be confirmed).

Once in Madrid, you can get tickets at the FNAC bookshop at Callao metro. Preciados street or at the bull ring. (or Carrefour!)

Prices vary according to where the seats are. (see web site).

I have taken English friends to bull fights, so I have to ask a question.
Do you know what you are going to see?
Ritual slaughter of an animal. If all goes well it is not too bad but if the sword goes into the lungs there is a nasty noise as the bull vomits up foamy blood in quantities and the drowns in its own blood. Enjoy the spectacle but if you have never lived on or near a farm, you may find the experience unpleasant.

Enjoy the experience!

Sure go see a healthy strong animal being driven to exhaustion so it can be eventually killed slowly by an idiot dressed like a Xmas tree. yeah pure entertainment watching a slaughter of a fine beast..
Your not only funding a neanderthal cultural entertainment but contributing to the future slaughter of these animals...
Maybe you should chase a guy with a red cape non stop till you feel like your gonna drop dead and he can stick you with sharp blades until you bleed to death...
Get a clue...

Tufty Porcupine
Don't do it. You'd be funding animal cruelty.

You can check on the Las Ventas (the name of the bullring in Madrid) website - http://www.las-ventas.com/ There was a fight on the 15th April.see the calendar on the right of the page for more info on the toreros and the bulls.

you should be able to get tickets here http://66.249.91.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://asp.las-ventas.com/noticias/festejos.asp&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dlas%2Bventas%26hl%3Den

My top tip is to buy a ticket at the bull ring when you get there - way cheaper than a tourist deal. And sit in the cheap seats, near the front for all the action. Choose Sol y sombra for a middle temperature option!

still more info (in english!) here http://www.spain-madrid.com/general/bull-fighting.htm

I hope not the sooner its banned the better,Barcelona has done it roll on the rest.why people delight in seeing an animal suffer in this way belies belief, and i think they have something fundamentally wrong with them ,your a sad excuse for human being.
