Hire a car is best and more convenient. Driving should take you about one hour and a half. You can fly into Granada but I have no idea where you are flying from. Certain places in the UK Ryanair fly to Granada. The best budget airline and the cheapest in Spain is Vueling. They also fly into Granada. |

The trains to Granada don't run that late. There is a 9:30 pm bus from Malaga to Granada, if you want to chance it:

From the airport, there is a train that runs to the train station, and the bus station is next door to the train station (Malaga Maria Zambrano). The train runs every half hour and takes 15 minutes:

If your plane isn't late you should be able to make it, especially if you don't check luggage. But it's a risk if your flight gets delayed. If you don't want to chance it, spend a night in Malaga. Granada is nicer, but Malaga isn't bad. The other option is to rent a car, which isn't too bad if you're only staying for a short while.

There are buses, and trains. Or you could just get a connecting flight to the Granada airport...I think that MIGHT be the easiest and quickest way. Check, like, Spainair...I think is the name of their biggest discount airline.
