Markets
Regular markets are held throughout the island. Particularly worth a mention are those at Alcudia held every Tuesday and Sunday, Andratx held every Wednesday, and Inca every Thursday. Most markets on Majorca tend to start quite early in the morning at around 8am, and finish just after 1pm before the heat of the day really sets in. As with all markets, use common sense and be prepared to haggle to secure the best bargain. |

It really depends on where you are staying in Mallorca and what you are looking to buy. If you buy the Majorca Daily Bulletin you will find that every day its lists the markets that are taking place and the types of products that will be on sale. Most towns will have a market at least once a week but some are much larger and more popular than others. For example, Inca is hugely popular, and Felanitx is very busy on a Sunday morning. Santanyi also has a good market . It really depends on where you are staying on the island, what it is you want and how far you are prepared to travel. |
