Mallorca is a fairly nice place yet pretty crowded. Nice restaurants, shops and beaches. There's a nude beach called Playa Es Trenc. |

Mallorca is more calm than Ibiza.
But i recomend you Menorca, in the Balears Islands too. |

Go to Ibiza. They have a variety of things to do depending on your mood. Beaches are beautiful, the hotels are gorgeous, nightlife is happenin' if interested, and they have many restaurants with awesome food! Have fun!! |

The best beaches by far are at the Costa de la Luz at a 2 hour drive from Málaga - especially if you are a little bit hip or young at heart. Naturalism : Caños de Meca.
Between Marbella and Malaga you will find Cabopino, which is the nicest beach of the costa del sol (only dunes, naturalism, and a great chiringuito making you feel in the caribbean).
In september the season is ending so you might end up on desert like beaches, so yes, as the other posters : Malaga is your best bet, as there is so much to see within a 2 hour drive. And every person should have seen the Alhambra at least once in life. |

If your going mid September, then main holiday season, or vacation season in your case will be over.
Menorca will be dead as a dodo, Ibiza will be slowing righ down as well.
In my view, it would have to be Majorca.
Stay around Palma Nova as there's lots to do and you can walk into magaluf for a wild night out.
Also, you can take some great excursions from here to the likes of cala D'or where the beaches are fantastic.
Here's some reviews for Hotels in Palma Nova for you to look through. |

I strongly recommend Malaga, because it's on the mainland and in that case you also have the option on moving around and doing some sightseeing. Granada has the Alhambra, a Moorish/Christian castle/palace for example, one of the most stunning places in Europe, which is by car just 90 min from Malaga. If you want to party and want ist expensive and loud, then go to Mallorca or Ibiza. |

I have been in malaga, mallorca and ibiza. if you want to see a lot of things it´s better malaga, because you can visit more areas, like granada, sevilla, cadiz.. it´s only 100 km far from malaga. If you want to see mora information about the hotels and facilities you can visit www.dimehoteles.com |

in my opinion, Málaga is the best option (although I prefer the other two by far!) BUT:
For mid-September, it's a little colder in the balearic islands and it might rain.
Enjoy and besos! |
