Medieval Valencia and Spain.?

If I were to take a tour in Valencia (or Spain) during the Medieval times, what would be interesting to see? Did they have bull fights, public executions, an theatre back then? I need it in detail if possible please.

The most common thing for "tourists" to do in Medieval Spain was go on pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. It was believed that the body of St. James was there, and it was one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in Europe, second only to Rome. There was an entire network of monasteries that put up the pilgrims throughout southern France and across the north of Spain. Many of the still stand.

People didn't really travel for "fun" in the Middle Ages. However, pilgrimages served much the same function, except instead of taking a couple of weeks, the took several months or years.

If you had a time machine and you could travel to XI century Valencia you could ask El Cid for an autograph. Priceless!!!

You could go say hello to King Jaime. Google him.

=/ all of those... and many more

Valencia was in the the "Crown of Aragon"
Along with... Aragon... Barça... Balear Islands... Much of Italy...Corsica... Sardinia... and the other one xD

;) Aragon declared war on my Region, Kingdom of Navarra so this was a large Kingdom which would later form the basis of Modern Spain.
Very important in the creation of Spain

When they joined the Crown of Castile, Modern Spain was created although towards the end of mediaeval time

Use Wikipedia or something to find out about this busy rich port city
