Hi, Im an american and I will be getting out of the military in about 6 months. Ive been to both Italy and Spain and have decided that I went to live in one of those two countries from now on. I have an MBA from Texas a & m and about 90,000usd saved up from deployments in the middle east. What do I have to do to move to one of these great countries? Is it possible for me to find work? Ive got friends in both countries so living will not be a problem but what should I be concerned with and where should I look for a job? |

I think you would do best to make sure you can find work, BEFORE you leave. There are almost 4 million people out of work in Spain. I have no idea what the situation is in Italy, but I'm willing to bet they are struggling, too.
Good luck. I know, from experience, that if you put it off, it only gets more difficult, but if you try to do it now, you may have a really tough time. Make sure you have ALL your ducks in a row before making a serious move. |
