Ive been to Barcelona many times. its the most interesting place ive been to, i absolutely love it there. there are so many things to do.
if you like art you will be in your element. loads of galleries and exhibitions. numerous Gaudi sights to see, Parc Guell, Casa Batlo, Sagrada Familia

We love driving around Spain, away from the tourist areas, and staying in any of the numerous Paradores around the country.

Camped out in the mountains above the beach at San Sebastian. Lived on Kalimoxo and when my Spanish mates only had warm yogurt and sardines to eat, I said, "Voy a bajar" and then I ran down the mountain through the brush (era muy borracha) and I ended up somewhere where I found a ham sandwich drowned in mayonnaise.
