Need help living in Spain? |
So I have a tone of questions. I am getting married in the USA to my Spanish fiancé and will be moving there (Spain). I need to find us a starter place do you have any suggestions of moderately priced locations in Malaga, Costa Del Sol, Spain. All the web sites I have visited are extremely out of my price range we are a young couple fresh out of college and need a realistic place. It is very difficult to do searches from the US so if I may beg a little Please Help. Also will I be able to work there with out problem if I am married to a citizen? |

Yes, American's can move here eaiser than we can move there xD You can buy my house if you want ? We´re moving from Navarra [In the North Near France] to Florida =)
´inmobiliarias´ is the word for Estate Agent
try inmobiliarias málaga... you could also rent... it would be a lot cheaper
inmobiliarias costa del sol... - this region will be more expensive, not only for the sea views and sun, but this is where the German and English buy their holiday-homes
If you search in-land more maybe... AlmerÃa home's will be a lot cheaper...
Think of where you want to live, in the South for Bar work ? it will be better after the recession but many English & Germans don't come here to Holiday because of problems in their own country with money.
If you work in an office, search for a bigger city.
But once again... I don't think you'll have any problem's with getting an NIE number - People inside the E.U obtain them once they are here for over 90 day's from the Police Station, I'm not sure about for an American. But we do have some here =) |

All the big estate agents, and many indepentent sellers list here.
I found my house on this site, and the flat i rented previously.
As far a getting work is concerned - if you are married to a Spaniard you will be able to get a Visa, and once you have your paper work sorted, no problem. The USA embassy in Spain can help you with VISA information. |

Just went to to Costa Del Sol for this very purpose.
To purchase an apartment, expect to pay around Euro 200,000 for a basic one bedroom. More if you want a nice large apartment.
To purchase a house, expect to pay Euro 500,000 or more. |
