I've had great luck with using Resideo.com -- you can view & quote hotels around Barcelona here: http://www.resideo.com/es/barcelona/
Click the "Check Availability" button, choose your dates, submit the form. The default sort is based on closeness to the center of town, but you can sort by price or hotel rating.
