Have you ever been? El Prado...the art museum, the classic must-do, If you're there on Sunday, The Rastro flea market, and in the Plaza Mayor, there's a stamp and coin market, if you're interested in that. Other art museums: Reina SofÃa, for Modern artists, and the Thyssen Bournemaszo (sp?) for a completely eclectic mix of masters.
Take a stroll through the Retiro Park. There's a great botanical garden, I'm not sure where it is. The Palacio
Real is a real jewel, and the Cathedral is almost on the same spot. Tons of less - visited places, like the Temple of Dobod. Bullring is gorgeous! (at least the photos are). Or you could just stroll the Gran VÃa, and window shop, check out the 18th century buildings. |
