Sorry, but Jackie M is so wrong.

Palma Nova is a lovely part of Majorca which is trouble free. The beauty of this place is its near Magaluf to travel by bus or taxi (or even walk), but far away enough not to be bothered by any 'lager louts' or trouble.

I usually pop into Magaluf a couple of nights during a week stay and spend the rest of my nights in Palma Nova.

Weather-wise, as all over the world, the weather is up and down at the moment, but at that time of the year it should be nice and warm... maybe even hot!

Hope you enjoy your stay and have a lovely time!

The weather in Mallorca in late August and early September is fab - September is a particularly gorgeous month for weather.

No its not true but you will only like Palma Nova if you are a teenager who sleeps all day and party's all night.

Hi, I have lived in Mallorca for 15 years and the weather is very rarely bad! We do get summer storms but the majority of rain is usually late sept onwards if we get any. Palma Nova is a beautiful spot and well worth a visit.
