Places to go for New Year's Eve in Madrid, Spain.? |
I am currently living in Madrid and since New Year's is soon, I am looking for some places to go. I know of some parties but they are 70 euro or something like that and I don't want to spend that much money. My boyfriend mentioned La Casa de las Americanas, does anyone know anything about that? Also, we are going to La Puerta del Sol for the ringing of the bell, but we need something for after that. Thanks for the help! |

Don't worry about it. If you want to go to an organized party then they're going to be expensive, and you might not even enjoy it that much once you're in. In Madrid, you'll find that the streets will be pretty empty up to midnight, because most people will be with their families having their New Year's Eve meal. Then, once midnight strikes (you'll be in the Puerta del Sol with thousands of others), the streets will fill up with people and will stay like that until morning. You'll just be able to go from bar to bar with the rest of the crowd.
If you're in the Puerta del Sol don't forget to take your 12 grapes, one for each ring of the bells, or you'll have bad luck all year.
Oh, and keep your hand on your purse AT ALL TIMES. |

Botellón is banned in Madrid... ?? So I think you have to pay for a discoteca entrance OR go to another city =) in Pamplona there is going to be a botellón in the Castle. 50€ from Madrid 4 hours on the train... or Sevilla... they always have some xD
Or have a party at home or somthing...
these are the options if you want to party - because you could go to sleep after xD or visit family ?? |
