There are lots of TABACs in Barcelona and they all sell the popular brands of English cigarettes. Under the new laws, one can ONLY buy cigarettes at TABACs, but they may be hard to find as they may be located in a side street. Also they may be closed on Saturday afternoons and on Sundays. Opening hours may vary but, as a rule of thumb, work on 10am - 2pm and 4.30pm - 8.30pm during weekdays. If desperate, ask a local "por favor, donde es un tabac?" Enjoy yourself. Ed.
