Two of the best sites for holiday accommodation are-

www.daltonsholidays.com.
I have used both and can recommend them highly. They advertise on behalf of private owners and are very informative, with everything you will need to know before making a decision.
You will be able to see the property inside and out, be given full details of the accommodation and it's contents, together with rates & availability and details of the owners.
They are particularly strong as regards property on the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca.
Very often you will be able to negotiate with the owners on lets of 3 or 4 weeks, if they have not already advertised a special rate for long lets.
My next holiday, in November, was booked via Holidaylettings, with a studio in Benalmadena for 150 euros.
