You must be from Dublin as you spelt Puerto Rico the way we say it.

Its busy all year round, should be great craic. Get your singing voice ready, if you see someone singing mama mia out of tune, thats me LOL

there is also a Puerto Rico in the Caribbean, which is why others think you are wrong to say its in Spain. But now they know there are 2 of them.

I think you mean Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria. Yes it will be very pleasant at Christmas time. The average temperature during the day should be about 24c. I live in Spain and may go to the Islas Canarias (Canary Isles) for Christmas

Puerto Rico on Gran Canaria (part of the Canary Isles) is busiest in December when people have their Christmas holidays. Prices reach their highest on this period.

Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria will likely be quite busy over Christmas as winter is peak season in the Canary Islands [an autonomous region of Spain].

As to the comments of those who suggest there is only a Puerto Rico in the Carribean Sea, I suspect that they are from the USA and have only a tenuous grasp of WORLD geography.

Do you mean Puerto Rico in the Canary Islands??

The winter months of December through to February are considered 'high season' in Gran Canaria, and many Northern Europeans will be trying to escape the cold at Christmas time. Suggest you check with a travel agent, or the numerous Canary Island websites to get an idea. Correct spelling might help you too.

It may be, but make sure you get on the right plane, and buy a world map at the airport to study on your flight...................Puerto Rico is NOT in Spain.........................best of luck!

If so puerto rico is a country in south america which is hispanic.
(they speak spanish) - (not in spain)
and it is not necessarily busy at christmas unless you go to the capital San Juan or culebra, places like carolina are nice to visit at christmas...
