Recommendations for Travel Agents for 10-day Spain Vacation? |
My wife (who is pregnant in her 2nd trimester) and I plan on going on a 10-day vacation to Spain around early May. Since we have never been to Spain before nor do we speak any Spanish, and especially since we don't want to stress about planning the vacation, airfare, hotels, trips, etc. by ourselves, we are looking for recommendations for escorted tours and vacation agents (online sites preferred) with whom folks in here have had good experience.
Any recommendations for the must-visit cities in Spain for first-timers like us, especially considering that my wife cannot indulge in hardcore activities and we are essentially looking to relax and discover the key attractions in Spain |

Several of my family members travel to Spain and Europe, they use TripAdvisor.com quite a bit for information. I understand that you have to keep in mind that Europeans tend to give a higher rating to accommodations that Americans would rate lower.

I assume you are American?
I am English, living in Spain. If you are worried about the language, don't be, most large cities have local, English speaking people. Andalucia is a beautiful region and the main cities to visit would be Granada, the Alhambra is must see, or go to Cordoba and the mosque. The coastal regions are beautiful and if you want to shop try Murcia. Have a good trip and congrats on the baby. |

I don't think that's such a good idea.
You don't want to stress about all those things? Just take a package tour.
Seriously, you probably just want to go to a beach and lie on the sand. I wouldn't recommend all the walking that goes with "must-see cities" and such, for a woman that far into a pregnancy. |

I just returned from a 10 day tour in Spain. You have nothing to be worried about, there are many natives from Spain that are fluent in English. And once you get to Spain, everything is so easy. They will help you with anything you need. You must see the Alhambra, that was amazing, and if you get the chance you should take the ferry boat to Morocco, that was alot of fun as well, and its only like a one day tour. Another thing, before you leave Spain, you need to see the gypsies dance in their caves, its almost like Flamenco dancing, its amazing. Well have a great trip, and congratulations on the baby! |
