Requirements to travel from Amsterdam to Barcelona?
I know by train I would have a stop in France as well going by train...Do I have to get off train each time I reach a new country and go to immigration or do they just stamp my passport even though its just a stopover???
They check your passport on the train as you go from France to Spain, but dont stamp it.

Since the european union and the euro a lot of countries have relaxed their borders and you don't even have to have your passport stamped at all especially at borders of countries like Italy and France- you just keep on flying down the motorway. If you are just passing through on a direct train you won't have to have your passport stamped unless you plan to hop off and exit the station. It is like a having to change planes at the airport- unless you try to exit the terminal you won't have to go through customs.

There are no longer any border controls between most European countries. And you certainly won't get a passport stamp because there's no-one to stamp it. You will go straight from Amsterdam to Barcelona without a worry.

The only closed border in the EU is the UK. I travel around Europe by car and I just drive straight through the border. Some borders, if they didn't tell you there was a border you wouldn't know it.
They don't stamp passports anymore, they swipe them through a computer. That way they have a record of where and when you travelled.
