Santa Ponsa achieves a good balance between both beach and nightlife. Discos, clubs and bars, particularly Scottish and Irish bars with live music, provide a fun atmosphere in Santa Ponsa, with dozens of restaurants. There are also good facilities for self catering stays.

When compared to the resorts of Palma Nova or Magaluf a little to the east of Santa Ponsa, there's not really a great selections of night clubs in the resort. But in all fairness, Santa Ponsa is more of a family resort and Palma Nova/Magaluf are only 10 minutes away if that's what you are looking for.

The Fama nightclub in the town is very popular with both tourists and locals alike, more so at the weekends. They play quite a varied selection of both popular Spanish and international dance music, and have a choice of two fair sized dance floors. Contact details are:

Fama
Calle Ramon de Montcada 25
07180
Santa Ponsa
Telephone: +34 971 690 987

Caramba is a large international club in Santa Ponsa, which provides live entertainment and party fun nights every night during the summer season. Contact details are:

Caramba
Calle Ramon de Montcada 27

Santa Ponsa

Certainly worth a mention in this section is Kitty O'Sheas who, during the summer season, have a different theme night every night, which include "ladies night" and "foam parties". They play a very mixed selection of music and also have a couple of pool tables and a table football too. Contact details are:

Kitty O'Sheas
Puig de Galatzo 20

Santa Ponsa

Although not strictly a club or disco, Aha is a lively bar that has its own DJ who plays a good selection of different types of dance music and is well worth a visit too.

I'm sure there will be more than enough to keep you and your girlfriend entertained- Have a great holiday!

hey there you will love it. I have been three times and im moving out there this April. There is loads to do for all ages. most of the clubs are open to 6 in peek season. Or if you want to go out for a night but not a mad one there is the Spanish square there is tribute bands on there every night ie westlife, Robbie, Abba and so on. There is one street that is full of tri colours but that most of the rest are English with a few German bars threw in. The beach is brill to loads of water sports to do. My favourite restaurant is the Duke of York its really nice but not expensive. Well hope you got some good advice dont worry you will love it.

I went last June and would go back but it is mainly for families, most young people were going to palma nova, there is lots of late night bars and lots of the entertainment is in the square, when i was there in June it was mainly irish/scottish-mainly celtic supporters.
