Should Spain be punished? |
Spain right now is a rich country, but if you look at history. They made so many crimes like enslaving and kidnapping Africans, abusing the people in there colony's like Philippines,Cuba,Mexico and a large part of the America's. I mean these are war crimes... and it happened less than 400 years ago. Should they pay for there crimes?
Japan pays damages to the Philippines until now because of world war 2.... What do you think? |

All the countries have commited a lot of crimes when they where bigpotencys, as Spain was once, and Spanish ones have been eexaggerated I tihink. Ok, Spanish people mistreated American natives and slclavized Africans, but the British did JUST THE SAME in North America, didn't they?, what is more, they almost EXTERMINATED native Americans in North America, even worse than Spanish Empire.
Are you a white American ? Then you maybe are the grandson of the grandson of a man who arrived from Britain and killed Americans and sclavized. Look like that. Sounds demagogic and stupid, doesn't it?
And USA now committinging crimes too, crimes that have been criticized all around the world and will be criticized by history in future ( violations of Human Rights in Guantanamo, invading third world countries with stupid excuse ( at least in Spain we changed our President for that ) ).
It has not sense to ask fresponsibilitiesies for what happencentury's ago, and it has not sense to make Spanish people to pay for what ALL the European continent did. |
