depends... in the mountain ranges it snows more... and on the coast practically never... i haven't seen snow in years now and i live near barcelona. but if it snows it's usually just a few flakes.

There are several mountain chains in Spain... from the Pyrenees on the french border all the way to Sierra Nevada in Granada, these have many ski resorts, and for that , you definitely need snow!! There are also the ones near Madrid... Navacerrada, La Pinilla, etc...
The two websites below will give you all the info you need on the spanish ski resorts...

Besides the ski resort areas, other parts of the country have snow in winter time... certain parts of Catalonia, Castilla- Leon, La Rioja, AragĂłn, etc.

Sure it snows in Spain. They ski in parts of Spain. There's a famous ski resort in Granada, a couple in the north Central part of the country, and Jaca, in the Pyranees, has a bid in for the winter Olympics in, like, 2016, I think the year is. (don't know whether that's still active or not).

I have photos (not my own) of Segovia with about a foot of fresh snow. REALLY pretty!

Mo Fayed
Of course it does, there are skiing resorts up in the Sierra Nevada. Much of Spain is mountainous.

LEONÉS
Of course it usually snows in north of Spain during winter (january-february).
Also in high mountains in South (Sierra Nevada, for example).
We have a lot of Ski stations.

it is difficult it snows in Mediterranean Coast of Spain, because weather is hotter and land level is lower.

See the lien:

rtorto
It's pretty rare to see snow along the mediterranean coast, and on the main large cities, due to the microclimate created by air pollution and artificial heating (sort of mini greenhouse effect). But everywhere else, of course it does snow.
