Apart from all the obvious places that will be in other answers, and in every guide book available, the Chocolate Museum, less known to most, is fun, and you need to have lots of Chocolate while there. It's some of the best in the world.
If you are thinking about the Palau Musica, check their schedule early in your stay. They sometimes close. We were disappointed, because we left it for the last day.
Miró museum is good. If you are into DalÃ, the house and museum in Fuengirola (nice day trip) is REALLY cool!
You should have ice cream, and seafood. Some of the best in the world.
We thought the bus tour (I NEVER take those touristy busses) was well worth it for Eixample, because it's so spread out.
And check on those water parks...I heard they were closed due to drought, unless there has been rain since the last I heard....you don't want to be disappointed. |

the Monserrat tour! Maybe, If you go on a clear day, you can see Mallorca. |

The usual, La Sagrada Familia, Nou Camp, Las Ramblas...... but if you want something a bit more fun, id suggest you go down to Salou. Takes about 1 hour on the train costs about 13 euros and there the beaches are much nicer and there is a great Water Park called Aquopolis in La Pineda.
Also id recommend going to Port Aventura. Again about 1 hour away and it has the Universal Studios theme park there and also Costa Caribe water park. |

I was in Salou a couple of weeks ago. I got a tour to go to Barcelona which cost 50euros. It was well worth it!!
We went to Nou Camp... this (as a Thierry Henry fan) was amazin!! :D Well enjoyed trip!!
We were then dropped off in Balcelona for a while where I visited Las Ramblas!! It was also very enjoyable!!
We also went to the Cathedral!! This was a wonderful experience!! :D There was people outside it dancing on the street and bands playing as well. The Cathedral is spectacular and the history behind it is so interesting!!
If you want to go outside Barcelona for the day I would recommend Port Aventura. This theme park is brilliant!! And a great day out for all the family!!
Hope this helps!!xx |

Depends on how long you have - you could start with the tourist bus, it's a great place to start and you get to see all the main tourist attractions, whilst picking up leaflets or information from other travelers or locals of other not so well attractions. Buses are regular, there are a couple of routes and you can jump on and off whenever you please if you don't fancy seeing everything - the audio guide is available in a number of languages. Have fun - I loved Barcelona. |

It depends what you´re into...
The big thing in Barcelona is Gaudi... his stuff is everywhere... there´s Park Guell, la Sagrada Familia, and a couple of houses, though they´re not so important.
After him, there´s a load of art museums like the Picasso one, Macba, the National Gallery of Catalunya on Montjuic.
Oooh you should definately go to see the Magic fountains.. theyre also near Montjuic, metro station placa españa and they´re on like Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights quite regularly, and its just this big fountain that lights up with music.
Montjuic itself is quite cool, it has all the Olympic stadium stuff and it´s a pretty area.
La Rambla is a fairly obvious tourist destination, just to walk up and down. It´s the main street i guess in Barcelona, and has a lot of people, and a lot of ´statués´´. There´s also a nice market off la rambla called la boqueria, with loads of fresh fruit etc.
Other than that... there´s the cathedral, just general walks around the barri gothic.. parc de la ciutadella is nice, and has a zoo....
Montserrat isn´t far away and has a nice monastery and montain views... beaches in Barcelona are nice if you go further up, but there´s also nearby towns that have nice beaches, like Sitges and Premia de Mar.
Other than those things... hmmm...... i guess it depends how old you are, who you´re going with and for how long. I actually live in Barcelona... so it´s hard to tell all in one respuesta here. but i hope this helped a little ... |
