Spain pulled it's troops out of Iraq following the horrendous Madrid train bombings in 2004. So, you'd better Google that too.

Inless your Spanish is good you won't find much infomation... especially on ETA & other Terrisum
ETA is the Basque movment for Freedom there is also one for the Català countries but I think they don't use violence now

Most people never wanted to go to war... & after 11-M the govement at the time... blamed the attacks on ETA, once found out that it was Al-Quidea it was just before the Elections and the whole govement changed - it was a big shock, after 11-M the government at the time destoryed all paper records !
ETA... has had many bombs in the recent months.... the lastest at my college in Navarra but at another Campus
people are counitly being arrested for being involed in ETA but it is taking no effect
Zapatero - the primeminster has had talk's with ETA which is highly controvisual but since they broke their cesefire a year or two ago talks have stoped
the attacks from ETA will continue untill it is a new coountry but this will create instabilty in most of Europe as the provances of France could brake away, and most of Spain will once again be small countries... the basque country will never have ´freedom´ in 10 years time... Europe will be one country called the E.U
