112 is the number. I lived there for 3 years, and used it once, and it worked. I hope you never have to use it.

It's confusing because there are loads for different things but the main emergency one is 112.
To call the national police it is 091 and for ambulance it is 061.
112 should the trick though as it is the general emergency number.
