Spain - Travel Inquiry...?
A friend of mine will travel to Spain next year and is wondering what the best method to get around there is, I recommended rail travel, any other ideas? He's looking to travel from Barcelona to Alicante. Any great hotel recommendations in Barcelona for July would also be appreciated.
I spent two weeks in Spain at the beginning of the year. Getting around the peninsula is easier than people mightt think. The train systems run around the country so that is always and nice and easy way to get around. Even flying within the peninsula migh be cheaper, since the local airline Iberia Air runs all over the country. For my trip from Granada to Barcelona we took a bus, no different than the Greyhound buses, buy a ticket and you are on your way.
