The weather should be quite warm at the beginning of October, though if you live in the UK you may find it very warm. Take a cardigan each for the evening as it may feel cooler, but certainly not cold. Last year it was really good. We get warm weather well into November most years. I live in Malaga but Alicante should be about the same. As for things to do in Alicante I´m not sure about, but try and get away from the coast and see the real Spain and see the people. Most towns have an old part and you should take the opportunity of seeing some of the architecture and the culture. Whatever you do, enjoy. |

Dunno about the weather, I am taking my daughter somewhere then too, so looking for reports., but if u go to Benidorm, do the sea life park there, the dolphin show is amazing, much better than over in england. It is quite expensive but it is really worth it. also penguins, seals, parrots etc... Mundomar they call it

Im spanish, and this year we have had a very weird summer, so maybe in Oct, the temperature.. will be warm.
But usually the temperature is cool with cold nights... anyway it depends the part of Spain you visit. If you are goin to visit Madrid, you dont have to worry about the temps, Madrid is a very warm city, if u come Castilla Leon or the north the weather will be cooler than in Madrid.
The islands are so warm, and the weather these days in Europe is very crazy, in England it doesn´t rain and in Greece have a lot of rain...

When I went it was hot in the day time and very cold in the night. You have to visit Malaga, Galicia and Granada. Beautiful place, Spain is. You'll have fun. |
