i need to know a good place In spain....which is not too touristy..(like some parts of the south of spain are just big flats). i am looking for a nice villa to rent...near some pretty little villages. I need the temperature to be quite hot... PLEASE SUGGEST SOMEWHERE! I am planning to go at the very beginning of September.
Try inland from the coast, in AndalucĂa. try to stay away from the touristy spots, so, skip the towns with names you know.

Try Orihuela Costa in Costa Blanca. You will find nice beaches and very hot temperatures. Plenty of British residents too.
You can find useful info on the net regarding Orihuela Costa or you can also visit www.orihuelacostamagazine.es

i went to spain. and it was REALLY nice. i rented a villa for 2 weeks. it was NOT at all touristy, but if u travelled to the nearest train station. aprox 5 mins from where i was staying, and hopped on a train to Barcelona or Tarragona, it was pretty amazing to be honest.
i really hope this helps.
but if your looking for a beachy place, i would not advice Tarragona, but if ur looking for more culture. then DEFINATLY go to Tarragona or Barcelona.
Goodluck.
please let me know how u got on with my advice. ! =)

Hope this helps
