Taking a dog from Spain to England?
Hi, I am from the England but live in Spain. I plan to buy a dog soon but I need to know how simple it is to fly the dog to the UK for when i visit.
Does anyone know the procedure that I need to follow and how long it takes?
As long as you are up to date on all the injections and have proof of them, it's ok to take a dog from Spain to England. They don't have to be 6 months in quarantine (in the past yes, but now no) You have to check with a vet a week before you travel and have the correct documentation. Check with your vet and also with the British embassy just to be sure.

Caz is right, you no longer need to put an animal in quarantine in the UK if bringing it from Europe. However, I will add that you will also need to get your dog micro chipped for i.d. It is much better to go along to your local vet to get up to date info on this matter BEFORE you get your dog so as to avoid any upset or disappointment afterwards. Once you are fully informed in the matter then go out and purchase your dog, and enjoy your time together.

Well, that could be tricky, because of Rabies, you might find that your dog may have to end up in a 6 months quarantine in the UK. Very strict on that here, if you are from the UK you should know that anyway.
I would phone a UK Vet to double check not a Spanich one they may not know the UK Laws
