Yes we are nice to tourists from foreign countries when they try to speak our language AND they don´t fight, get drunk, insult us and destroy everything like english hooligans in Ibiza and Benidorm.

dinodino
They are nice to you if you are nice to them...Be polite, learn the basic greetings, say please (por favor) and thank you (gracias) excuse me etc and show respect by using appropriate forms of address -- Senor, Senora, Senorita...

Well I am spanish so its hard for me to say because i speak the language pretty well. I would liek to say that the spanish are a proud people so they will keep to themselves but give you their opinion when they think it is needed. On the other hand, I think you will fair very well if you are polite as they do appreciate tourism .

Salva
It's so beautiful when someone do a long distance for meeting our culture, so we appreciate that. To be polite and sympathetic with foreign tourists is natural for Spaniards, but it's also a duty. We're the second most visited country in the world, so we have to welcome those people who make an effort for visiting our land, and especially if we want that it continues the upcoming years!
In addition, foreigners tend to be friendly as well (except in Majorca and Ibiza, just hooligans! lol) and they're very funny when trying to talk in Spanish, we love it!

Yeah. I don't understand the blue sea part, but the people in Spain are great! If you just TRY to speak a little Spanish, they will treat you like family!
