Depends if you are single/married and depends what mood you are in. I went last year for my honeymoon and I had a lot of fun, here are some options:
1) Go partying to the Oympic Village....great tourist hangout, many bars....
2) Go to the beach and tan, play beach v-ball, beach soccer, etc...just dont leave your bag unanttended...
3) Get a tour of the Barcelona Stadium
4)the Picasso Museum
5)La Sagrada Familia tour
6) Have tapas and sangria on las ramblas
7) go to a concert

Have fun... |

Most visitors stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada FamÃlia Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north. Or maybe visit the 98,000 seater Nou Camp stadium the home of Barcelona football club. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/barcelona.htm for more details |

Good for you! I've travelled lots of places alone, sometimes it's the most fun way to go. You meet more people that way.
Spend a day on the hop on hop off bus to see all the major sights, and take in lots of yummy food at the outdoor tables in front of nearly every restaurant. Bring a great guidebook like Frommers or Lonely Planet. Walk all over the place too, it's a cool city! |
