Torremolinos- do they have a market? Are the other resorts worth a visit? |
Is ther a weekly market in Torremolinos? Are Benelmadena and Fuengirola worth a visit and how do i get here? |

I don't know about the weekly market in Torremolinos, but Benalmadena's is on Wednesday in a big park ( 2nd hand items and some new ones). In Fuengirola there are 2 markets, the first one on Tuesday and a flea market on Saturday ( both located in the fair ground). The best option to get to Benalmádena and Fuengirola is by train, it is cheap and fast. In Fuengirola you also have a big shopping centre with loads of shops ( Zara, Mango, Massimo Dutti...) called "Parque Miramar", you can take a bus from the city centre to get there for just 1 euro ( single ticket). I will recommend visiting Mijas!! it is worth it!!! It has a special Andalucian touch and great mountain views. To get to Mijas you have to get a bus in Fuengirola Bus Station ( very close to Fuengirola train station). In about 15 mins you are in Mijas and the ticket is only 1.05 Euros. I hope it helped!! |

we go twice a year to benalmadena,the area has plenty of markets, torremolinos is on a thursday,benalmadena is in the park on a wednesday,on friday there is a large one in aroya de la miel near benalmadena train station,you could get to that one from torremolinos on the train cheap and quick.buses are every 10 mins to benalmadena and 30 mins to fuengirola.you can walk to benalmadena along the wide promenade in about an hour and browse in shops along the way.malaga is worth a visit buses very regular to there,average cost is about 1 euro 30 cents

Every town and village has a market day, check out www.surinenglish.com this free paper is on line and has a great deal of information concerning the beach side resorts and the beautiful inland white villages,plus Gibraltar. Wishing you a great time on your holiday. |

they will have a market. but i like benalmadena better, fuengirola is not as nice. the last time i was in torremolinos i thought the beach area was awful. the shopping area is nice. you can go on the bus to these places. but we hired a car. have a nice holiday. |

depends on how far you want to go. Benalmadena has a market but dont know any details on that.
Fuengirola has 3 markets a week, Saturday is a flea market on the fairground and weds and sunday are market days.
Marbella is on Monday
it's a bus ride away to Benalmadena and Fuengirola and 2 to Marbella |
