I was there several years ago and it was nice, mainly for couple or families not teenagers. You can travel to Lloret, Blanes, Callella, Barcelona. It has a shingle beach and a relaxing layed back type of place, there is pubs and restaurants etc.

For a quieter holiday Tossa is ideal and still only a short bus ride from Lloret if you fany a livelier day out.
