Transfer from airport in Tenerife South to Costa Adeje.?

How much should we expect to pay for a taxi from the airport in Tenrife to Costa Adeje. I have been told that it is possible to get a bus does anyone know if this is true. I don't want to pay for transferes if at all possible.

A taxi will cost you about 25-28 euros to Costa Adeje.
But you can do the complete journey by bus at a cost of just a few euros. The bus run by the "Titsa" company leaves the airport at 10mins past and 20mins to the hour.
You can obtain all the information you require on the links below.

For want of a better way of describing it much of Costa Adeje is the posh end of Playa de las Americas.

A taxi would be aproximately €25 give or take a couple Euro and is around a 20 minute journey.

Bus number 487 goes from the airport to the bus station in the centre of Playa de las Americas, for a few Euros, but would still leave you with a mile or two to go to Costa Adeje. I'm not sure which bus you would need to take you the rest of the way although a taxi journey from there would be much more affordable.

As an alternative you could book a private transfer. I use El Mar services. They are reliable slightly cheaper than the taxi for the same journey. You know who you are dealing with (many of the staff/drivers are British) and I don't have the nagging doubt in my mind that the taxi driver is going to try and rip me off. http://www.elmarservices.es/html_ing/booking_traslados_ing_paso1.asp
