I guess most people flying from London to Minorca would transfer through Barcelona, or take a special charter flight. But are there any regular direct flights between the U.K. and that island?...
Driving would take you no time at all, about an hour these days with the new motorway, but by bus you'd need to go via Lorca or Murcia and that would take a lot longer. There is no train from Almeria to Cartagena.
Edit; There is a train, but the journey will take over 17 hours, so bus is your best bet.

Easy you can check times, fares and buy at ALSA the national coach carrier. The site is in English and easy to use especially since they became part of National Express the UK company.
