Hey hey hey

Traveling to thee Valencia, Spain!?

Hi, I'm doing a Research project on Valencia and basically my job is to convince others that Valencia is worth traveling to.

Can anyone tell me things about Valencia I wont find online? (from personal experience, etc) and why is it worth visiting?

Thank you so much!

Valencia's a beautiful city. It has a beautiful and walkable old city center, that contains a Cathedral with a fantastic tower, and the Art Noveau Mercat Central (one of my favorite markets anywhere - beautiful and fresh food. Valencian almonds are the best).

The aquarium L'Oceanográfico is the largest in Europe, with the central building made of an ultra-thin concrete shell designed by the great architect/engineer Felix Candela.

The Ciutat de les Arts i de les Ciencies is another architectural marvel designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava. It houses a science museum, planetarium, and opera house, as well as a brilliant modern landscape (google this to get some stunning photos).

The river was rerouted a couple decades ago to prevent flooding of the city. The whole riverbed is now parkland that forms a ring around the old city. My favorite part is the giant Gulliver that all the little kids play on as Lilliputians.

Friendly people, good food (birthplace of paella), and nice beaches round it out. Lovely city.

Valencia is very nice, there are some things that to see for example the city of the arts and the sciences, the large salt-water lagoon....
I sincerely prefer more it of the center of Spain in Cuenca, toledo, Burgos .... I say it to you for that before I was living in Spain
