Is this the first time you have travelled abroad?
1- Have you taken out insurance?
2 - Are you relying on the E111 card?
3 - The resort where you are staying should if need be point you in the right direction.
4 - Buy yourself a small but handy translation book.
5 - Take a small bag of necessary items with you, headache tablets, plasters etc mossy repellant/after bite.
6 - Doctor - MEDICO. Chemist - FARMACIA.

If you are on any medication make sure you take enough with you
for the whole of your holiday.
Relax and enjoy yourself.

Generally, I've found most good hotels will have a GP availabe. If this not the case, phone your insurance company as they will be able to direct you.

Mr Computer
Hi Sioned W
You will find it quiet easy to find medical treatment if you should need it. First you need a European Health Insurance Card which has taken over from the old E111.This is free, as is medical treatment, you can use it in any of the state medical services (as you would in the UK) You can apply for this on line www.ehic.org.uk/InternetPROD/home.do.
The other option is if you have travel insurance you can use this at a private clinic or doctors. you will find many of these places in most shopping centres.
depending on your insurance company you may have to pay up front and claim when you arrive home, so check with your travel insurance company before you take out cover.
A consultation by a private doctor will cost about 50euro.
You can buy most drugs over the counter in a pharmacy (Farmacia) use the pharmacist as first port of call they are quite knowledgeable.
Good luck and hope you will not need any medical treatment
