I like Spain for a holiday but not sure about living there..the days of it being cheap are over and it has a very prominent knife culture...

Madrid is a great place to live if you like a clean, modern city (with a small old quarter with lots of charm). Lots of art, lots of nice corners, parks, etc. Centrally located for travel about the country. It's very Spanish, (unlike Barcelona, which has a flavor all its own).

However, if you prefer a smaller city, there are lots of those, each with its own character.

Make sure you can survive financially, as jobs are hard to come by for non EU foreigners.

Everywhere is a good place to live in Spain. It just depends on your expectations. I live in Spain. I moved here three years ago, but you have to do it for the right reasons.

yeah but only if you have money or plan on gettikng a really good job over there. i have fam over there and they say its hard because the pay istn good
