Hey, depending on what exactly you are looking for you can go different ways.
Santa Eularia is a lovely tipical quiet town by one of the beaches , in terms of night life, there isnt much but there are lots of tourists, mainly families.
If you have the budget you can try and find a nice villa or rent a place by one of the quiet *cala's*.
Es cana, San antonio, Playa den Bossa are very touristy and full of life, and noise, but are good for drunken nights out!
Siesta and Cala LLonga are lovely and very very quiet. By a beach. Not much going on there.
Ibiza town is expensive bue if you can find a place dont hold up!
Jesus and Talamanca are nearby Ibiza town and particularly Jesus (very typical) are ver quite.. yet lovely =]
Places like San Jose, San Josep, and the beaches can be pricier but are also worth looking at.
The thing is, as some of the other answers have shown, the english in particular just see Ibiza as party world, but in reality its just a quiet beautifull island full of little wonders to discover! |

Santa Eulalia on the east of the island or Port des Torrent on San Antonio bay. |

I lived in Ibiza for to summer seasons in 96 and 97 and yes San antonio would be out ofthe question especially the west end trip, san josep is an ok choice but may be to far from things to do, if u still want to have fun but get out of the hustle and bustle when need be then i suggest cala gracio or on the out skirts of the old town, you could even try somewhere close to playa del bossa |

We went to Es Cana a couple of years back That is where the hippy market is held. DO NOT GO THERE the place was a dive, the beach was dirty and just horrible looking. If you want somewhere nice go to Cala D'or on Mallorca, Beautiful. |

Really depends when you are thinking of going. Off peak season will obviously be aloy quieter. I have just returned from Malia in Crete (identical to Ibiza in summer) but off peak in May was lovely, quiet and peaceful. But Ibizas northern part is quieter so enjoy. |

san antonio bay is alot quieter than san antonio itself but you can get the water taxi across to san antonio for only 2 euros if you want to. |

Santa Eulalia for sure. The north of the island is beautiful, small bays beautiful cliffs, hippie market in Las Dalias.
Rent a scooter and visit the other face of Ibiza. www.myibizascooter.com.
Am sure you will enjoy it. |

San antonio town is definitely not for you if you want quiet!!
We stayed in `san antonio bay` a few years ago and that is alot quieter, but still lots to do! it was mostly couples and families, i don`t know if you are taking children, but the bars and resteraunts there are very family orientated....i didn`t encounter any `loutish behaviour`... i took my children and they loved it! |
