Visiting Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria for two weeks, is there much for us to do?

Is it easy to visit other nearby resorts? What is Puerto Rico like? Will I be bored by the end of it? Oh and finally...I hear Gran Canaria is bad for cockroaches...is this true? Will they be all over our accommodation?

Its certainly very hilly, no doubt about that!! As I recall, Puerto Rico seems to be in something of a cove in the hillside, sloping down to the beach, in Gran Canaria, but I think other towns/resorts are not too far away. A taxi ride at night, probably.

When we were there, we were either half or full board, I cant remember - so we tended to stay within our resort. We explored during the day, and stayed in for the entertainment during the evenings.

There are some interesting tours to do during the day - an island tour is good, taking you to the north of the island, and inland, to explore volcanic looking landscapes!!

I think you will enjoy it! We did! We are off to Tenerife on Tuesday, so we will wave to you!!!!

it is a hilly town, lot's to do , close to other town's , roaches will get in if you leave your door and window's open so hire a fan and keep it on 24 / 7
