Vitoria Airport to San Sebastian, Spain? |
I 'm leaving tomorrow from London to Vitoria airport (120km) away from San Sebastian and I need to find a way to actually get to San Sebastian (cheapest way preferable!). Anyone know? I 've heard that you have to tkae the bus from the airport to Vitoria city and then probably take the train from Vitoria to San Sebastian? |

I think you probably should take a taxi from the airport to the center of Vitoria, from Vitoria to San Sebastian you may take a bus or a train. The buses station is in the street 'C/Los Herrán, 50' and the train station is at 'Plaza de la Estación'. The trip dures about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Here you have all the trains and prices from Vitoria to San Sebastian, but I'm afraid it's in Spanish...

PS. In both places you will see indications written in Spanish and Euskera (Basque), only for your orientation, Vitoria in Euskera is called Gasteiz, and San Sebastian, is called Donostia. |

That would be the cheapest solution. (Bus then train) |

Go to a web site on the internet called ' conde nast' .
Look for 'travellers routes' and then type in your departure point and your destination.
You can choose your preferred method of travel from either by air, sea, train or road.
This site also gives you all combinations of both the quickest, shortest and the longest/overnight options for travelincluding the fares and prices for each of the transport involved. |
