Yes!!! Of course you can get a tan in Spain. I live in Spain; lived there for seven years.

So when you go to Spain you will defenetly get a tan ''Even if you don't sun-bathe you will still get a tan''.

Hope you have a great time there in Spain.

Hope i helped

Well 2 years ago I went to spain in May and I got a tan, it was fairly hot.

The weather at the minute in Spain is around 15 degrees which is quite warm but not great.

i went early last may and it was hot in the day, though we did get a few days of heavy rain.

This is what the weather is like at the moment where I am.

http://tiempo.meteored.com/weather/weather_Benidorm-Alicante-Espana-Europa--1.html

It is very very changeable, Friday started off miserable but turned out to be so hot by lunchtime??
Today at the present moment it is chucking it down....... :( but who is to say what will be tomorrow.
Let us hope all of you people that are coming here for a short time have great weather, I always feel really sorry for people when they pay good money to come here, only for it to pee down.........
We are always glad of the rain, as we see very little of it, yeah, yeah I know, I'm sorry :)
But after 20 years of sun believe me it can and does get boring..........

Depends where you are going! It's a big and long country (for Europe anyway!) with really diverse geography and climate.

If you go to the south at this time of year then unless you are really unlucky you should have good weather. However I live in Barcelona in Catalunya (Costa Brava/Costa Dorada resorts) and although we had some glorious weather earlier in the year, it's been raining on and off for the last couple of weeks.

So, my recommendation would be, if you wantSpanish sunshine then your best bet is the south at this time of year.

Even if the sun doesn't seem strong, make sure you wear high factor (20SPF or higher) sunscreen and stay in the shade/covered up between 11 and 3 (like all the locals do!).

I went to spain 2 weeks ago, it was 18 to 20 degrees, and the one day i got burnt, it didnt seem particularly hot, it was quite breezy that day, but went quite red and i am skinning now, so yes it is possible

www.weatherunderground.com good site for weather forecasts. Spain is very variable by which Costa you end up on.

Turbo Lag
The temperature will have no bearing on if you can get a tan or not. If it is sunny, you will definitly be at risk of burning at this time of year.

YUP.

Depending on where you go, of course.

I don't know if you actually want to bare down to a bikini, but the sun is certainly strong enough right now for getting some on your face and arms.
