Weather in spain , mid september?

am off to the costa brava on 16th september for a week
does anyone know the average temperature or the temperature now even as its less than 3 week away
just so i got a rough idea what clothes to take , am hoping it will be sunny and hot but may be wrong lol

The average temperature year round on the Costa Brava sits at around 22C. The peak summer months of July and August see average daily highs of 28 degrees, whilst June and September see average highs of a slightly cooler 25 degrees.

Yeah, it's nice!! It is hot in the sunshine and at worse a little parky in the evenings. All the chavs have gone home and you can sit on the plaza and watch the pretty girls promenade, now that the vomitting Brits have left. I used to work through August and take September off. Happy Days!!

Look on this website, I live in Spain and find it pretty acurate.

Just put Girona for your Province and select then your resort and select. I know it's only for 5 days but will give you some idea.

we went a few years ago the place you are going to and about the same time and it rain none stop - no sun at all - so do take a jumper and waterproofs! (and a pack of cards!)
