Dunno but I wanna live there - pink champagne breakfasts every morning!!!! Yummmmmmm!!!! :-)

Joan el guiri
Too many English; too expensive; not Spanish enough; overbuilt; dangerois main road; difficult to find a plate of sopa de picadillo or ropa vieja.

Lil' Miss!
Someone once said to me "you can smell the money in marbella" So make sure you have plenty of pennys!!!

It is a very up market, sophisticated resort. Very nice if you like rubbing shoulders with the upper crust. The beach and promenade are lovely, it has some very nice parks and gardens, a delightful "old town," lots of good bars and restaurants and is generally a very clean and pleasant place to live.

In Marbella, they eat with Sporks instead of spoons/forks/knives as seen on ebay.

hi rachel i myself live in coin just about 30 minutes away from marbella up in the mountains but go to marbella often my son works near marbella also. to answer your question living in marbella is no different to living in england as marbella has more english people living there than anywhere else although i am sure some people will disagree. living in spain as a whole is getting a lot easier but marbella does cater more for the english you dont say if you speak spanish life is better if you do but you can get along ok if you dont. living in spain as a whole is far better than england a very laid back lifestyle i am sure you will enjoy
